Deputy Director
Office of Supply Reduction


The Deputy Director for Supply Reduction is appointed by the President and is responsible for providing direction to the Office, which oversees activities to reduce the availability, production, and distribution of illicit drugs in the United States and abroad. These activities include developing, coordinating, and implementing supply reduction policies and coordinating efforts in the areas of international drug control, interdiction, domestic law enforcement, foreign and domestic intelligence, and internal intelligence support.

Specific activities of this office include recommending policies, conducting analyses, issuing guidance on international drug control matters, focusing international drug control issues, engaging agencies in addressing drug control issues, and serving as the principal advocate and ONDCP liaison and coordinator to drug control program agencies for drug enforcement and intelligence programs and initiatives.
