The Office of the Chief of Staff manages agency operations, including
personnel, logistics, scheduling, and evaluation. Acting for the Director,
the Chief of Staff monitors agency compliance with the Director's
assignments, oversees the development of new agency initiatives, and
coordinates the exchange of information among agency components. The Chief
of Staff informs the Director of Agency activities and provides feedback
to program offices on issues of concern to the Director.
