The Office of Public Legislative Affairs serves as a liaison between
ONDCP and Congress, the media, and the White House Offices of Legislative
Affairs and Communications. Specific responsibilities of this office
include developing and implementing a legislative strategy to guide policy
issues through Congress, ensuring that ONDCP is aware of and responsive to
congressional concerns on narcotics issues, and highlighting the ONDCP
messages through a schedule of major media events.
