Organizational Structure


ONDCP is an agency of the Executive Office of the President. The Director is appointed by the President and is the chief executive officer of the agency. Reporting to the Director are three major component heads also appointed by the President: the Deputy Director for Demand Reduction, the Deputy Director for Supply Reduction, and the Associate Director for State and Local Affairs. The Director appoints a fourth component head, the Director of the Counter-Drug Technology Assessment Center. Also reporting to the Director is the Chief of Staff, who manages the agency operations. Other components of ONDCP include the Office of General Counsel, the Office of Planning, Budget, and Research, and the Office of Public Legislative Affairs.
